  Bill Gates
On October 28, 1955, William Henry Gates III was born. He was born into a family with a rich history in business, politics, and community service.

Bill Gates is not the greedy man that allot of people picture when hearing the name 'Gates' in fact Bill Gates is quite the giving man when it comes to computers and the internet. Last year some time Bill Gates visited Chicago's Einstein Elementary School where he announced grants benefiting Chicago's schools and museums where he donated a total of 110 000 dollars , a bunch of computers, and connected the internet to a number of schools. Secondly Bill Gates donated 38 million dollars for the building of a computer institute at Stanford University. Thirdly Gates donates to Habitat for Humanity and plans to give away 95% of all his earnings when he is old and gray. To conclude Bill Gates donates to a number of charities and causes especially those promoting computers.

"Bill gates believes that if you are intelligent and know how to apply your intelligence you can accomplish anything."

  Al Gore
"During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet." - Al Gore

Sharing the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize helps underscore the urgency of the climate crisis, said former Vice President Al Gore.

Gore's comments came hours after the Nobel committee announced he would share the award with the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change for their work to raise awareness about global warming.

"This is a chance to elevate global consciousness about the challenges that we face now," Gore said, speaking to reporters in Palo Alto, California. "It truly is a planetary emergency, and we have to respond quickly."

The former vice president said he would donate his half of the $1.5 million prize to the Alliance for Climate Protection, an organization he founded to persuade people to reduce global warming by cutting pollution.

"That amount is very small compared to the enormous challenge that lies ahead," Gore said, including organizing a massive grass-roots movement and a mass advertising campaign focused on "trying to change the way people think."
