What is the Edu Friendly Theme?

The AwardGreen Categorie name "Edu Friendly" symbolizes several actions that protect our planet and the people and species living on it:

· Progress comes from education. When you support educational programs you support everybody's future.

· Edu Friendly programs can help more people recieve education. Edu Friendly actions can support the traditional schools and education systems, but Edu Friendly actions can also support new eduational faclities and ways of teaching. New ways of teaching may help us conduct our business in a different way in the future.

· Being Edu Friendly gives you the opportunity to support learning facilities throughout the world. When more people can learn in their own way, more people can become inventive and think of solutions and different ways of protecting ourselves and the planet.

· As education is offered, we also need to be aware of providing the students with food that allows us to perform the best. When people are malnutritioned we cannot do our best, no matter if we overeat or undereat. As a result world health and ecucation are closely related and you can support both.

· Make sure that you are informed about "World Health" matters according to the World Health Organization. WHO is responsible for providing leadership on global health matters, shaping the health research agenda, setting norms and standards, articulating evidence-based policy options, providing technical support to countries and monitoring and assessing health trends. · Involve yourself in programs that can protect and help people, who live in poverty or some form of crisis and have little access to water, food, medicin and education.
